San Diego Friends Meeting (Quakers)

Peace Resource Center of San Diego (PRCSD)

American Friends Service Committee US/Mexico Border Project (AFSC)

Project on Youth and Non-military Opportunities (ProjectYANO)

The National Network Opposing the Militarization of Youth (NNOMY)

The Friends Center will be an enduring physical presence of the four partners’ dedication to actions advancing peace, social justice and spiritual growth. Through the use of conflict resolution tools, community peacemaking activities and collaboration for nonviolent social change, Friends Center participants intend to make peace an achievable goal.

We have cooperatively built an environmentally-sound “green” building. Further witness of our commitment to living in peace with the environment and to wise stewardship of the earth’s resources, we now collaborate to operating the building in addition to furthering each of our organization’s work.

We invite you to join with us individuals and groups in the San Diego community valuing peace, social justice, and a sustainable environment. We wish to further enhance collaborative and effective practices in sharing resources, expertise, and hopes.

Each of the partners has established their own web presence to provide information and opportunity for your participation in our activities.

Portions of our beautiful space are available for rental. We have hosted weddings, conferences, memorial services, non-profit sales, and organization meetings thus far. We invite your inquiry via voicemail (619) 263-9301 or a message to info(at)prcsd.org
